Bracebridge House is a 3 bedded property providing supported accommodation for up to 4 women in recovery from drug and/or alcohol at our project in Erdington, Birmingham.
Our residents are expected to:Attend a weekly residents meeting to contribute to the running of the project, including suggestions for the monthly activity,Attend the monthly activity to build new networks and prevent isolation.Attend weekly one to ones with a keyworker to make plans for daily living without returning to drug or alcohol use and training,Attend a weekly workshop or group covering various subjects including, anger management, self esteem, building new networks, budgeting etcAttend a minimum of 2 NA, CA, AA etc or some recovery programme they choose.
A stay at Bracebridge House Is usually 6 months but this time period is adjusted to each individuals circumstances and can be more or less than 6 months. After completing a programme with Bracebridge House we will plan permanent ‘move accommodation’ with Midland Heart or Birmingham City Council.
Bracebridge House accepts referrals from other professional services as well as self referrals.
